Funny R/Mo build that needs more developing:)
Hi guys!!
I am not a native English speaker so there will be many mistakes here - but try not to see them. lol
Yesterday I have come with an idea of an build - it works pretty well in some places and I was wonderin',if there is a way to make this build better..Post Your comments here pls
I posted it here because this is an idea of a farming build - and as it is now - You can farm with it in few places..
Stats:
Proffesion - R/Mo
Smiting -2
Protection - 10
Expertise - 9 (8 +1)
Wilderness - 11
Marksmanship - 10(6+3+1)
Armor:
This is the funniest thing - becouse usually the only armor I am wearing is:
- Archers Mask of Sup Marks
- Druid Leggins of minor expertise
Leggins are because of one additional energy regen pip, mask - because of the stats.
Skills:
Poison Arrow {e}
Distract / Savage / Concussion Shot*
Storm Chaser / (or optional when not running to the farm place)
Troll Unguent
Spirit Bond
Prot Spirit
Balthazar's Spirit
Essence Bond
I have hit points at about 435 and energy at 22...the hardest thing here is energy - because of the 10 energy cost of Spirit Bond(which is lastin 8sec) and Prot Spirit(17 sec). Of course I am wearing full (Druids) armor when running to the target - and then I have 32 energy.
Switching weapons inside a battle:
I have Drago's Flat in the first slot and preorder Spiritbinder with +5 energy upgrade in the second. Usually I am using only Drago's - but in some rare cases additional energy is essential to survive...
The farm itself.
All people farming with Poison Arrow know about one thing - this farm is slow. This farm is slow - and in some cases other character classes may farm the same monsters faster than this "ermo" build But hey - I just love my ranger^^
The Basic idea is to cast Balthz' and Essence before fight - I usually cast one of them, wait for my energy until it fully regenrates - and cast the second one. When engagin fight - I shoot mob with normal attack, cast PS and then wait until mobs is close - and cast SB.
Nahpui Quarter(mission)
All monters except the bosses can be killed with this build - this is slow - but when You know the routine - not that hard. The basic thing in here is, that You have to kill Spirit Lights before You will kill other mobs. They are self-healing - but it is not hard to interrupt Wielders Boon(their self-heal skill) and when Distract is used as an interrupt - they will die in pain. Even if self heal skill isn't interrupted - they are killable, but it takes longer... Just poison them(because of the nature of poison arrow it works well and saves You a lot of time when spammed across other mobs in the free moments), interrupt, cast Spitrit Bond and Prot Spirit when blinkin' and attack them. They will die. Next other mobs - just try to spam Poison Arrow across all of them equally - they will die. Loots here are rather good(mobs often drop feather so it is a good way of farmin them) and Koi scepters - can be slavaged while Aureate Daggers and Celestial weapons can be dropped occasionally.
Fissure Of Woe.
My favourite farming place - and to bo honest - I didn't have time to farm enough here. I just know that Snarling Driftwoods are killable - easy as pie - and the mob group near the Skeletals - consisting of 2 x Shadow Elementals and one Shadow Mesmer is easy as saying "ermo rocks ^^"
Just be sure to cover PS with SB(because of the 2 sec recharge of SB) and their Shatter Enchantment will don't even scratch You I would like to test this build here more - but we just lost favor - so I have to wait...
I am sure that there are other places here that can be farmed with this - but for now - I can't remember which ones I only know that Shiro'ken mobs own You - (because of the Song of the Mists) and I am thinking about getting lowest possible armor level Druid Armor - infusing it - and try to kill Mursaat.. doubt it will work but I am bored and this is worth tryin'.
*Concussion shot needs 25 energy so it is only possible to use it when You are wearing lowest possible armor Druids Armor.
Flame on
Cheers^^
